ADOT Glendale Safe Routes to Schools
project OVERVIEW
Y2K Engineering was selected by Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) in conjunction with City of Glendale to provide updated Safe Routes to School maps as it is important for the City to ensure that the outdated maps are replaced with new walking boundaries and safe routes as well as current existing infrastructure. A total of 41 schools were required to be updated utilizing geographic information systems and field assessments of existing school traffic control and crosswalks.
