The City of Mesa requested Y2K to assist in planning and project management services required to provide updates, edits and changes to the refreshing of the 2012 Bicycle Master Plan with current information, to include progress, changes and achievements since 2012 into the new Plan. Therefore, the maps, figures and references in the Plan, needed to be reviewed and updated to match the current information and standards being used.

The 2018 City of Mesa Bicycle Master Plan contains many sections and chapters that provide information regarding the Mesa Bicycle Program, including but not limited to future projects, vision for 2040, achievements, bicycling environment, health impact, and safety improvements.
