Ryan has 15 years of traffic engineering and transportation experience in the State of Arizona, and over 8 years of utility experience in civil engineering and construction management.  He has 25 years of CAD experience using CAD design software and is an Autodesk Certified Professional.  Ryan has experience designing traffic signals, pedestrian crossing, high-intensity activated crosswalk beacons (HAWK), and railroad crossing signals. In addition, Ryan also has experience in roadway lighting design and analysis, ITS infrastructure, and roadway signing and marking.

When Ryan is not behind a computer, he spends most of his free time outside with his wife Nicole and their two children and their bicycles.  Ryan enjoys trail running, mountain bike racing, and bikepacking the Arizona Trail..

Volunteer

Ryan volunteers his time with local trail advocacy groups building and maintaining mountain bike and hiking trails.  Ryan and his friends also started a bicycle donation program called Bikes for Buddies, where they build and restore bicycles and donate them to people in need.
