Sam Taylor, PE (AZ #72749) has over five years of experience in traffic engineering design and studies. Most recently, Sam served as the south region traffic engineer for the city of Scottsdale and led efforts on signing and striping design, traffic signal design, traffic studies, safety studies, pedestrian and bicyclist studies, capital projects and traffic calming projects. Prior to working with the city of Scottsdale, Sam worked as a graduate research assistant at Northern Arizona University and focused primarily on traffic safety analysis and statistical modeling.

Sam was born and raised in Arizona and currently resides in Scottsdale. Sam enjoys being active and competing in sports and video games. Sam also enjoys going on adventures in new cities and exploring the outdoors.
