When Southwest Airlines looked to add a new hangar facility at Sky Harbor Airport, a realignment of the existing 41st Street which serves the East Economy Parking Lot and Southwest Airlines was required to accommodate the new facility. Y2K Engineering was subsequently tasked with ensuring feasibility of movement considering several factors such as the geometry of truck turning movements and access to and from other roads and facilities. Two alternative plans were recommended to the client for their approval with subsequent signing and striping improvements
